Carla is a writer, editor, and poet at heart. She began her career in journalism as a featured writer for Mocha Bride, the Bay Area’s first diverse bridal magazine. Since then, her work has spanned both print and digital media - writing blogs, articles, and social content for individuals, creatives, and small business owners. She has also contributed as an editor for Stanford University projects.
Carla is drawn to the deeper story behind every subject. She writes to explore the truth, emotion, and complexity of the topics that move her. She believes everyone - and everything - has a story worth telling.
